GLP-1 "microdosing" — is there any actual evidence for it?

microdosing GLP-1 is all over my feed lately. the thing is, the low amounts in the trials were just the titration steps for tolerability — not a studied maintenance strategy. so "microdose protocol" is an extrapolation, not something the trials actually tested at maintenance.

not saying it's crazy, just that the evidence genuinely runs out there and anyone claiming proven benefit at tiny amounts is going past the data. mechanism + evidence chat only, not dosing.

this is the key distinction. the low amounts in the trials were titration steps for tolerability, not a studied maintenance strategy. calling them an evidence-backed "microdose protocol" misrepresents what was tested.

I get why it's appealing on cost. appealing and demonstrated aren't the same thing though.
