Editorial Standards
PeptidesHub is an evidence-first, research-and-education community. This page explains how our content is produced, how we rate evidence and sellers, and the lines we will not cross. It is here so readers — and the search and answer engines that surface us — can judge our work on its method, not our marketing.
Who writes and reviews our content
Reference content — the compound database, evidence summaries, and long-form research guides — is produced and maintained by the PeptidesHub Editorial Team. Community discussion, protocol logs, and seller reviews are contributed by members and clearly labelled as user-generated; they are moderated but represent individual experience, not editorial positions. Where a contributor's professional credentials have been verified through our practitioner-verification process, that is shown on their profile.
How we rate evidence
Every compound carries an explicit evidence tier so you can weigh the data rather than the hype. We never imply stronger support than the literature provides:
- Tier 1 — RCT evidence: supported by human randomized controlled trials.
- Tier 2 — Observational: supported by human observational or clinical reports.
- Tier 3 — Animal only: evidence limited to animal models.
- Tier 4 — Theoretical: a mechanistic or theoretical basis only.
We also publish each compound's FDA status, human trial counts, and animal study counts as discrete, checkable facts rather than narrative claims.
How we evaluate sellers
Sellers are scored out of 10 on hard signals: independent third-party lab testing, batch-specific certificates of analysis, weighted and verified community reviews, transparency, and documented enforcement history. A seller earns the “Trusted & Verified” badge only when it is active, publishes third-party testing, and clears the score threshold — the badge reflects data, never advertising. Sellers that are unverified, under review, or flagged are shown honestly rather than hidden.
What we do not do
- We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and we do not recommend dosing.
- We do not sell peptides, take commissions, or facilitate transactions of any kind.
- We do not accept payment for rankings, reviews, or the Trusted & Verified badge.
- We do not make efficacy claims beyond what the cited evidence tier supports.
- All content is for research and educational purposes only, for an audience aged 18 or over.
Independence and conflicts of interest
PeptidesHub is independent of every seller it lists. Because we do not sell products or take pay-for-placement, our rankings and badges can stay tied to evidence. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed plainly on this page.
Corrections and feedback
We update reference content as evidence, FDA status, or seller data changes, and timestamps reflect the latest revision. If you spot an error, contact us or flag the content in-app and we will review it. Substantive corrections to reference pages are made promptly.
