Epitalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) based on the pineal peptide epithalamin. Russian research groups report effects on telomerase activity and circadian regulation, but independent human randomized controlled trials are lacking and it is not FDA-approved. It is used in research contexts to study aging biomarkers and the pineal–circadian axis.
