Cagrilintide is an investigational long-acting amylin analog studied for weight management, including in combination with semaglutide (the CagriSema program). Phase 2 randomized controlled trials support meaningful weight reduction, and phase 3 development is ongoing. It is not FDA-approved as a standalone product.
