CagriSema (cagrilintide + semaglutide) — what does the combo data show?

CagriSema = cagrilintide (a long-acting amylin analog) + semaglutide. the idea is they hit partly different satiety pathways so the appetite effect stacks. phase 2 looked solid and phase 3 is the real test.

what I can't find is a clean direct comparison vs high-dose tirzepatide or retatrutide — everything's vs placebo or the component arms. cagrilintide alone is investigational, not approved standalone. anyone seen a head-to-head?

the amylin + GLP-1 two-pathway thing is the most promising bit for me. whether it beats a high-dose single agent in practice is what phase 3 has to answer.

yeah everything I can find is vs placebo or component arms. the most interesting comparison just isn't run yet.
