KPV (lysine-proline-valine) is the C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-MSH, studied mostly for anti-inflammatory activity in gut and skin models. The preclinical rationale around NF-kB modulation is interesting.

As with most things here, the catch is that it is preclinical: animal and cell models, no published human efficacy RCTs. Worth following for inflammatory research, but the human case is unproven.

Mechanistically appealing given the alpha-MSH lineage and NF-kB modulation, but it is preclinical only for now. Animal and cell models, no human efficacy trials.
