How does verification work, and what does it actually change about my account?

Head to the verification page and submit your credential — a moderator reviews it.

Once verified, your profile shows the credential and your contributions carry that context. It doesn't grant special posting powers; it just lets the community weigh your input appropriately. We never display unverified credentials.
