Dihexa: extremely potent in rodents, zero human trials

Dihexa is an angiotensin IV-derived peptide that is striking in rodent models for promoting synaptogenesis via HGF/c-Met signaling, reportedly at very low concentrations. That potency is exactly why people get excited.

But there are no published human efficacy trials. Potent in rodents is not the same as safe or effective in people, and the absence of any human data should weigh heavily here. Tier 3 at best.

Potency in rodents is not safety or efficacy in humans, and with a molecule that drives synaptogenesis the absence of any human data is the headline, not a detail.
